Busy start to 2011 for Lillicrap Chilcott
Mar 2011

Now, we urgently need more houses to sell having completed an extraordinarily busy 2010 in which we acted in the sales of £130 million worth of properties. Let there be no doubt, the Cornish property market is buzzing and the prospective buyers are ready and waiting right now to find their perfect homes.
This year has seen us double our advertising commitment for the whole of 2011 with the county’s most widely read weekly newspapers. As a result, the home owner selling through Lillicrap Chilcott now benefits from massively increased regional exposure for their house sale. Added to that, a guaranteed position within those newspapers means our properties will always be the first that readers get to see.
While we are going to great lengths to assist our local purchasers, it is worth noting that 70% of our buyers are from out of the county. We don’t have an office in London yet year after year we sell a large percentage of our homes to buyers from that part of Britain who tell us they wouldn’t have dreamed of starting their search for a Cornish property anywhere else but in Cornwall.
Our growing team of 20 staff is the largest and most experienced of its kind in the county and covers the whole of Cornwall from one central office. Equally important is our hugely popular in-house property magazine “County to Sea” which is read by almost 90,000 people and is an excellent platform for your home.
Right now we need many more character and individual homes to sell in all prices ranges across the whole of Cornwall – properties like yours in the place where you are living.
Our high national profile and our position as the clear market leader in the county make us the first port of call for those buyers serious about acquiring a property in Cornwall.
If you are contemplating a move our advice is simple - please do not wait until later in the year.
