The fashion world has Vogue, for petrol-heads there’s Top Gear and now for house buyers in Cornwall there’s a brand new glossy property magazine.
“County to Sea” is published by Lillicrap Chilcott and consists of 52 pages showcasing some of the best homes and lifestyle opportunities that Cornwall has to offer.
The magazine’s Editor is Sarah Lillicrap, the company’s Media & Marketing Director, and former ITV and West Briton reporter.
Sarah said: “The first issue of “County to Sea” rolled off the presses early this week and we are absolutely delighted with it. As well as containing information about many of the great properties we are selling, it also serves as a guide to some of the most exciting lifestyle-related businesses in the county.”
“Cornwall is such a superb place to live and we wanted our magazine to convey a little of the spirit and life of the county to those people who are thinking of moving here who maybe don’t yet know all that much about the place.”
She added: ““We have included a variety of features designed to provide something of interest to everyone. Neil Haydock, Executive Chef at Jamie Oliver’s Fifteen Cornwall, has produced a great selection of seasonal recipes while the food theme continues as we go behind the scenes of the Tregothnan Estate where tea-growing and honey production are in full swing.”
Thousands of copies of the magazine will be distributed to house buyers throughout Cornwall and the rest of the UK. Issue two will be published at the end of the summer.
Sarah Lillicrap added: “Editing the magazine has been tremendous fun. We were overwhelmed with the fantastic response from local businesses which really got behind us right from the start. We also received tremendous support from Karen Jackson of Karen Jackson Design in Falmouth and it is largely thanks to her skills that the magazine looks are wonderful as it does.”
