The Truro-based independent company agreed almost £10 million new sales in January 2009. February is looking equally promising with more and more house buyers deciding now is the time to act.
Ian Lillicrap, Director, said: “Last Friday alone the team in our office in Truro exchanged contracts on 6 houses around the county. We feel very fortunate indeed that the hard work put in by the whole staff is paying off to such a great extent compared to the national average.”
Andrew Chilcott, Director, added: “We have more and more serious buyers contacting us every single day and they are moving fast to get their hands on the properties they want. The return on their savings is low which is encouraging them to invest in bricks and mortar and they want to jump on board while mortgage rates are at such an all time low.”
He added: “For anyone thinking of selling their home over the coming few months my advice would be that now is the time to take action. Don’t believe all the doom and gloom that is being spread so often by the national media because it is not the reality on the ground that we are seeing. If you are considering a move, don’t delay and get in touch.”
